“Exceptional contractor; among the best contractors we have worked with. Provided outstanding communication throughout period of performance, and were very receptive to any edits or changes made to deliverables. Timely delivered products which required minimal editing. Went the "extra mile" to create Flash-based games within each presentation that our institution can still edit if doctrine changes, and delivered a product with a clean, easy to understand GUI. Would prefer this contractor in future DOs to any others we have worked with.”

ODG created the JATSOC for TJAGLCS’s Training Developments Directorate (TDD) in accordance with the dLETP contract. The courseware design followed the guidelines set forth in TRADOC PAM 350-70-2 for military multimedia development training programs. The target audience is Active Army and Reserve Component Judge Advocates who have graduated from the Judge Advocate Officer Basic Course and who have 48 or fewer months of commissioned service.
JATSOC is employed as a prerequisite to attendance at the Judge Advocate Officer Resident Graduate Course and the RC Judge Advocate Officer Advanced Course. JATSOC is optional for all other JAG personnel. TJAGLCS TDD has launched JATSOC as an online program replacing CAS3 for Judge Advocates. The JATSOC initiative consisted of creating one new hour of Level I IMI—the Course Introduction lesson—and updating 18.5 hours of existing TRADOC Interactivity Levels I and II IMI configured as eight lessons.
JATSOC is TRADOC Interactivity Levels I and II IMI. Additionally TJAGLCS TDD requested a graphical user interface-like “back drop” for the learning area of the Adobe Presenter shell and the conversion of four Flash-based lessons to Adobe Presenter. This Maintenance effort was developed in accordance with the following: update the existing IMI and create the one new hour of IMI—the Course Introduction lesson—with the Adobe Presenter (version 7.0) authoring tool; rebuild four lessons from existing Flash-based lessons into Presenter lessons; integrate with the Blackboard LMS; do not create SCORM-conformant IMI; and create Section 508-compliant IMI—text versions of audio scripts.
Lesson Checks on Learning were built using Adobe Presenter Quiz Maker and End-of-Lesson Tests were built using Blackboard Test Manager. Additionally, Flash objects were designed and embedded into Presenter providing interactivity exceeding the inherent capabilities of Adobe Presenter providing the Soldier with a richer, more engaging experience.
